Traffic Management
Traffic Management Initiatives may be required during peak traffic periods or during periods of reduced airport capacity. Pilots should be prepared for potential reroutes, mile-in-trail or altitude restriction, holding, ground delay, or ground stop.
If possible, plan to arrive early to avoid delays, airspace congestion, and limited parking.
Due to Penn State University football game scheduled Saturday December 21 at 12:00 PM EST, (2412211700 UTC) a higher than normal volume of IFR operations to and from KUNV are anticipated beginning Friday afternoon December 20. Due to the expected volume, VFR flight following and other VFR services may not be available within ZNY airspace in the vicinity of KUNV.
